With the adjustable control arms from CNC71 Motorsport for the BMW E36/E46, we can optimally adjust the rear suspension to the driver's driving style. This is particularly useful when preparing the car for motorsport, both drifting and time attack. A set of adjustable lower control arms is also ideal for lowering the car and thus ensuring a perfect fit.
The design of the control arm, based on a spherical joint, ensures greater stiffness of the rear suspension system, making the vehicle more predictable and offering improved driving characteristics. In addition, the uniball is a much more durable solution than the original rubber bush, which is especially important with increased suspension load in motorsport.
With a wide adjustment range in both "+" and "-", the CNC71 Motorsport control arms for BMW E36/E46 make it possible to achieve maximum traction on the driven axle. The total adjustment range is approximately 40 mm (544 mm - 585 mm), of which, compared to the original control arm (553 mm - 560 mm), we get the possibility to shorten by 10 mm or extend by 30 mm.
The control arm set includes:
- Adjustable rear lower control arm LEFT - 1 piece
- Adjustable rear lower control arm RIGHT - 1 piece
- Uniball M16 - 2 pieces
- Uniball spacer set - 4 pieces
- Roman bolt M16x1.5 - 2 pieces
- Lock nuts for uniball and turnbuckle - 6 pieces
The control arms are made of thick-walled structural steel tubes and TIG-welded, which ensures very high structural strength. Individual components are manufactured on CNC machines, guaranteeing high quality and repeatability.
The control arms are powder-coated black.
The weight of the entire set is approximately 3500 grams.
