However, this only allows for an approximate measurement with limited accuracy. For precise adjustment of the suspension geometry, it is recommended to visit a proper workshop. In addition, the measurement can be distorted in the case of rims whose spokes protrude outside the vehicle beyond the plane defined by the rim edge, and in the case of high-profile tires (and low pressure), which deform significantly at the contact point with the ground, due to the inability to position the plate relative to the wheel.
